What We Do

Cohesive Support for Special Needs Families

We bridge the clinical and the emotional, ensuring your child gets their ABA access while you get the professional support you deserve.

CLINICAL COMPLIANCE

ABA Written Orders

Insurance companies require a licensed practitioner's formal written recommendation before initiating or renewing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.

We streamline this process, performing secure, clinical telehealth assessments to document medical necessity, enabling your child to begin or maintain their essential services with minimal delays.

  • Standardized developmental & behavioral assessments
  • Medical necessity documentation formatted for major insurers
  • Coordination directly with your child's BCBA & pediatricians
MENTAL HEALTH & WELLNESS

Therapy for Parents

Raising a child with unique needs is a journey of profound joy, but it also carries unique, chronic stressors. Special needs parents face systemic barriers, diagnostic trauma, school placement exhaustion, and caregiver burnout.

We offer a specialized, clinical space designed specifically for you. This is not generic therapy; this is a space where your unique parenting experience is fully understood, validated, and supported.

  • Coping strategies for chronic stress and nervous system regulation
  • Processing grief, diagnostic trauma, and advocate-fatigue
  • Practical boundary setting and reclaiming identity beyond caregiving

Additionally, getting simple paperwork like ABA written orders shouldn't feel like climbing a mountain.

Our mission is to simplify the clinical barriers and provide deep, evidence-based psychological support, allowing your entire family to thrive.

My child needs ABA. How can you help me?

If you live in Pennsylvania, you will likely need a Written Order for ABA. We can help by completing this order for you, ensuring your child gets started in ABA services as soon as possible.

I am a pediatrician. How can you help my autistic patients?

We can remove the administrative burden of paperwork by completing evaluations for ABA and completing written orders for your patients. Feel free to refer individuals to us via our HIPAA-compliant phone, fax, or email.

I work at an ABA clinic. How can you help our clients get services?

We are happy to complete written orders for your clinic. Currently, we have contracts with major ABA providers to complete written orders for their clients.

I am a parent looking for therapy for myself. What kinds of issues do we work on?

While I support individuals through a variety of life challenges, my practice is specifically tailored to the unique stressors of parenting children with special needs. We often focus on:

  • Caregiver Burnout & Compassion Fatigue: Navigating the physical and emotional exhaustion that comes with long-term caregiving and advocacy.
  • The "Invisible" Grief: Processing the complex emotions surrounding a diagnosis, missed milestones, or the shift in the life you imagined for your family.
  • Anxiety & Hypervigilance: Managing the "waiting for the other shoe to drop" feeling that often accompanies medical or behavioral complexities.
  • Identity Reclamation: Reconnecting with your sense of self outside of being a parent, advocate, or caregiver.
  • Relationship Strain: Addressing the impact of high-stress parenting on marriages, partnerships, and sibling dynamics.
I have never done therapy. What happens at the first appointment?

The first session is what we call an "intake" session, but I prefer to think of it as a collaborative discovery. My goal is to make this the one hour of your week where you don’t have to be the "expert" or the "advocate."

  • A Safe Landing: We’ll start by creating a comfortable space where you can share your story at your own pace. There is no "right" way to start.
  • Understanding Your Landscape: I’ll ask questions to understand the specific dynamics of your family, your current stressors, and what has (or hasn’t) worked for you in the past.
  • Goal Alignment: We’ll talk about what "better" looks like for you. Whether it’s finding ten minutes of peace a day or reshaping how you view your future, we’ll start defining our roadmap.
  • No Pressure: You aren't expected to have all the answers. You are here to be heard, and together, we will begin building the tools—using CBT, ACT, and Narrative techniques—that fit your actual, daily life.
